Bethanie

Bethanie

Veterinary Assistant

With nearly a decade of experience in the veterinary field, I’ve built a career rooted in compassion, curiosity, and hands-on medical care. Since starting in 2016 and graduating with my Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017, I’ve had the opportunity to work across ER, ICU, and general practice settings. Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for radiology (x-rays and ultrasound). Although I don’t currently share my home with any pets, I’ve loved having rats in the past and plan on welcoming more little whiskers again soon. Outside of work, my world revolves around my kids. I treasure spending my free time watching them explore new experiences and grow into their unique personalities – it’s truly my greatest joy.

Customer Service Specialist

I have always had a love for animals. My first job began right out of high school. For 5yrs I worked as a veterinary assistant. I went to work for the LLNL for 15 years, but found that my joy was still working with animals. So, I happily have been back in the Veterinary field as an assistant and receptionist for 11 years. My sweethearts are Joey, a King Charles Spaniel, Angel, a Blonde Border Collie, and Joyful, a rescue kitty with big blue eyes. Oh, and there are the 6 outdoor cats I feed. (It started with 2, but I’m sure the word has gone out. I serve good food and give love to them all.) I started calling my place Noah’s REst because kitties kept coming to my Ark. Right now I say “I have the perfect job at Happy Tails, I work with the perfect co-workers, DVM’s, and Manager. I love all the furbabies and their owners that come in!” Inside the Hospital you can see my love of painting, displayed on the walls.
